Dogwood Street - Kris Ruff

It all started when my daughter asked me to draw a cat. I made a quick sketch and it made her smile. Fast forward several months, and a client asked me for artwork for a pet bowl. The cat made him smile too, and before I knew it, I had a whole collection of quirky cats and dogs that I imagined living together in a little neighborhood on Dogwood Street.

Since its debut, Dogwood Street characters have landed on a diverse range of products from kitchen linens, and shower curtains, to ceramics, and stationery. Their playful antics and whimsical style make them very popular, and also very commercially successful.
